The better the texel rate, the better the card will be at texture filtering (anisotropic filtering - AF). This number is calculated by multiplying the total texture units of the card by the core clock speed of the chip. Texel Rate: Texel rate is the maximum texture map elements (texels) that can be processed in one second. It especially helps with AA, HDR and higher screen resolutions. The higher the bandwidth is, the faster the card will be in general. In the case of DDR type RAM, it should be multiplied by 2 again. The number is worked out by multiplying the bus width by its memory speed. Memory Bandwidth: Bandwidth is the maximum amount of information (counted in megabytes per second) that can be transported past the external memory interface in one second.
